Greenheads are finally manageable!

“We live in Delaware, where greenhead flies can make summers unbearable. Since we started using the Fly Cage, we've seen a huge reduction. No chemicals, no hassle — just effective fly control.”

My horses are so much calmer now

“Set it up in under 2 minutes next to my horse pasture. Within a week the difference was remarkable. My horses are finally comfortable grazing without constantly stomping.”

Poolside game-changer

“Deer flies were unbearable every July. The Fly Cage changed everything. We can actually enjoy our backyard again. Worth every penny.”

Simple, effective, no fuss

“I was skeptical at first but the science makes total sense. Flies fly up — the cage is up. Caught dozens in the first few days. Highly recommend.”

Worth every penny for our ranch

“We run cattle on 40 acres in East Texas. Horse flies were brutal on the herd every summer. Two Fly Cages later and the difference is night and day. The cows are calmer and we stopped buying chemical sprays entirely.”

Finally can use our dock again

“Our lake house dock was unusable in July and August because of deer flies. Put The Fly Cage near the shoreline and within a week we were eating dinner outside again. Wish I found this years ago.”

Took about a week but then wow

“First few days I wasn't sure it was working. By day 7 or 8 the cage was full and the fly pressure around our barn dropped noticeably. Give it time and it really delivers.”

No more fly spray on my kids

“I hated spraying DEET on my kids every time they went outside in summer. The Fly Cage solved our horse fly problem without any chemicals at all. Setup was genuinely two minutes. Love it.”

Bought a second one for the barn

“First one worked so well near the pasture that I bought another for the barn entrance. Flies don't stand a chance anymore. My farrier even noticed the difference.”

Our campsite is finally peaceful

“We camp in the Adirondacks every summer and horse flies made it miserable. Brought The Fly Cage last trip and it was the best weekend we've had in years. Portable and effective.”

Neighbors asked where I got it

“Within the first week three different neighbors came over asking what the trap was and where to get one. It's a conversation starter and it actually works.”

Works great, just needs the right spot

“Took me a couple tries to find the best placement. Once I moved it between the pond and the yard, it started catching like crazy. Read the placement guide — it helps.”

My dog can finally enjoy the yard

“Our golden retriever would get bitten constantly by horse flies. Since putting The Fly Cage out, she plays outside without getting attacked. No more welts on her belly.”

Better than any spray we've tried

“We tried every chemical spray and bug zapper out there for years. Nothing worked on horse flies specifically. This trap targets exactly the right flies and it shows.”

Shipping was fast, setup was faster

“Ordered Monday, arrived Wednesday. Had it set up before lunch. By the end of the week the collection chamber was full. Can't believe I didn't buy this sooner.”

Perfect for our vineyard

“Horse flies were a constant problem for our workers during harvest season. Two Fly Cages placed along the field edges made a massive difference in comfort and productivity.”

Survived a full season outdoors

“Left it out from May through October. Rain, wind, sun — it held up perfectly. The aluminum frame and mesh are clearly built to last. Already looking forward to next season.”

Great concept backed by real science

“I'm a retired entomologist and I can confirm the biology behind this design is sound. Tabanid flies are visual hunters and do fly upward when startled. Smart, effective product.”

Our outdoor wedding was fly-free

“We were terrified about horse flies ruining our outdoor reception near the lake. Set up two Fly Cages a week before and the day was perfect. Best investment we made for the wedding.”

Year two and still going strong

“Bought this last summer and just pulled it out again for season two. Works just as well. The fly population around our property is noticeably lower than before we started using it.”

Product FAQ

How do I empty the Fly Cage?

The Fly Cage can hold a whole season of biting flies. There is velcro along the bottom of the cover, you simply release the velcro and shake out the trap at the end of the season.

What types of flies does The Fly Cage catch?

The Fly Cage catches horse flies (tabanus), deer flies (chrysops), greenhead flies, and yellow flies. These are all biting flies that hunt by sight and have the instinct to fly upward when disturbed. It does not target house flies, fruit flies, or gnats.

How quickly will I see results?

Most customers notice a significant reduction in biting flies within 1–2 weeks. Over the course of a full season, the local population drops dramatically as each trapped female is prevented from laying 100–800 eggs.

Is The Fly Cage safe around horses, dogs, and children?

Absolutely. The Fly Cage uses zero chemicals. There are no pesticides, electric elements, or sharp edges. The lure is simply a dark ball — completely non-toxic and inert.

How much area does one trap cover?

One Fly Cage effectively covers approximately half an acre of open ground within line of sight. Place it between the fly source (usually near water) and your activity area.

Does it need electricity or batteries?

No. The Fly Cage is entirely wind-powered. No electricity, batteries, or solar panels needed.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us for a full refund.
